Genome Project!

This is by far my favorite project! My theme was Hip Hop music, which was lucky for me to get it as many others wanted that genre. I really enjoyed finding all the music! I learnt even more things about iMovie, like formatting the music to fit in time with the movie and slides, and I learned how to use Zamzar, which is very useful (I hope its not illegal!) I found this useful and look forward to my next project!

iMovie Project!

I enjoyed this project a lot, but it is not my favorite as I prefer to work on my own, as i then don't have to rely on anyone else. I learned a lot about imovie in this project which will help me a lot for my next few projects! In this task I was mainly in charge of the interviewing and Brighid did some too. I interviewed Joe and Brighid interviewed Katie. I found out that most people would prefer having lunch all together instead of A, B, and C. I also learnt how to pull clips from photobooth into iMovie. All together this was a fun project and i enjoyed it.

Devil Wears Prada Podcast

This project was one of my favorites so far! I really enjoy using garage band as it has lots of cool effects and stuff! In this project we had to choose a movie, i chose Devil Wears Prada, and give a minute long presentation using photos from it and recording your voice. I personally prefer working on my own to working in a group because i feel that way i get a lot more done. I enjoyed finding photos from the movie and making my voice sound really weird with the helium effect! overall the project was great fun, especially working in the recording room!

Story Board

Our story board was about Lunch, my favorite subject, haha. I found this a lot of fun because I enjoyed working with the group i was in. We used Google Docs and Powerpoint. I enjoyed finding the quotes with Jessica the most because there were some really funny ones and we work well together. I very much enjoyed learning all the new things. Some times i felt i didnt really know what i was meant to be doing but then when i asked my fellow teammates they were very helpful with getting me back on track.
Over all i found this project fun and simple to complete!

IPhoto Project

In the last week of Mrs.Brown's Int. Tech. we were to put together a slideshow of photos that had the letters of our name in.  We could choose a theme but we didn't have to. I chose the theme of animals, so every letter was made up from the shapes in animals, for example; for letter a i had horses rearing up towards each other so it looked like an A shape. At the end of the photos showing our names, we had to post photos that expressed ourselves, so I put a picture of my horse, and dogs. I also had things like friends, showing that I like to socialize. Here are a few photos. The humming bird is an F, Horses A, and the others express me!

M&M Project Blog

In our M&M project I learned how to take the average on excel, and addition. My favorite part was eating the M&Ms afterwards! I wouldn't do anything differently. I found out that the majority of M&Ms are orange. After making a chart of the amounts of different colours of the M&M's we had to make a pie chart graphing our results. We then had to colour code the different sections or pieces of pie to match the colours of M&Ms. Here is a picture of my project.

I look forward to learning new things on the mac. I also hope to be a faster typer, as i am very slow! I would like to learn how people put effects into movies and cartoons. I expect to learn how to use my new laptop properly. I also would like to meet new people and have a lot of fun on my laptop and learn what is safe and not.
